Full day excursion to the Alentejo province (Évora and Estremoz). Departing from Lisbon and heading south, crossing the Tagus River over the 25 de Abril suspension bridge, one of the many symbols of Lisbon. Évora is a city-museum and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

In a unique and surprisingly harmonious urban ensemble the old city is located inside a medieval city wall.

A maze of twisted, "Arab" style streets, and the power and majesty of the Romanesque cathedral, the Igreja de São Francisco, which dominates the city mass, with the gloomy atmosphere of the chapel, lined with human bones and skulls is one of the main attractions of this city.

Estremoz - this fortress city acquired its significance in the XII century during the war for the restoration of independence, with an amazingly beautiful building located on a hill among olive groves. All palaces are adorned with the Portuguese "azulejo" telling us about the life of the royals. Estremoz anciently famous for its marble, as evidenced by the Tower of the Three Crowns - a huge marble building in honor of local rulers.
