Sintra- a unique city with fabulous parks, palaces and mansions. Visit to the romantic Pena Palace (XIX century) with its scenic road from the city center, and the mystical Quinta da Regaleira mansion with its mysterious caves and grottoes.
Moving from Sintra to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent, then through the famous resort towns of Cascais and Estoril, along the coast and returning to Lisbon. Lunch at a typical restaurant in Lisbon. -
Óbidos –Coimbra - Overnight at the Hotel Ipanema Porto 4*. Obidos — a famous city on a hillside surrounded by walls. Its narrow streets still retain memories of the Arab era.
The town is also known as the city of the king as it was ruled or many centuries by the Portuguese king. Dona Leonor and Dona Catarina (both Queens of Portugal) left a memory in form of beautiful churches and a aqueduct. Obidos undoubtebly bares the mark of a woman´s touch and it is no coincidence that this small town is also known for another woman, artist Josefa de Ayala also known as Josefa de Obidos. Obidos is one of the most picturesque towns.
Lunch at a typical fish restaurant in Nazaré (The restaurante is located on the beach, just a few feet away from the ocean) Coimbra – located above this town is the oldest university of the country, a former Royal Palace, which is also home to the famous baroque library.
